Overview
Glen Keith, in the town of Keith, is a mid-20th-century distillery that supplies the Chivas blends and is occasionally bottled as a light, fruity single malt. It stands across the River Isla from the much older Strathisla.
The history
Glen Keith was built in 1957–60 by Seagram/Chivas on the site of an old meal mill, one of the first new Scottish malt distilleries of the post-war era. It was mothballed in 1999 and quietly brought back to life in 2013.

Glen Keith draws on Balloch Hill springs (Newmill and Crossburn).
Glen Keith had no founding clan — it was a modern commercial build at Keith, a planned burgh in Grant/Findlater–Seafield country.
Visiting
Glen Keith is not open to the public — it is a working production distillery with no visitor centre. Its whisky appears mainly in blends and in occasional official or independent single-malt bottlings.
